Permaculture (permanent culture) is a system of design for creating human settlements which are in harmony with nature. It is based on the observation of our environments and mimicking ecological principles such as diversity, stability, efficiency, resilience and interdependence. At the base of this technique is the need to take responsibility  for our lives with co-operation instead of competition and to consider the earth and the people with every step we take.

Permaculture techniques have been used in many climactic and political landscapes such as the Jordan valley, in KenyaAustralia, and from the west of Canada. This technique is growing in popularity around the world as it proposes solutions of design that can apply to many areas of concern today. It is an essential tool for all of us regardless of your specialization or domain.
