Urban Food Forest and Soil Regeneration
This compacted contaminated dry back yard couldn't barely grow grass. when It rained the water would all rush towards the basement of the house.
We utilised a technique of harvesting that rain water and directing it through a system of passive irrigation pathways, with some decompaction using a broadfork we then brought in some soil, compost and over 15 cubic yards of woodchips which is approximately 15 tons of Co2 Equivalent in carbon captured by this garden
Fruit trees, Aromatic shrubs, wildlife habitat, pollinator habitat, and rain gardens
