Our goal is to make permaculture accessible. We strive to make all our courses informative, interactive and affordable. If you are interested in one of our courses, however require further assistance, you can apply for a work-trade with us, or crowdfund your tuition with We The Trees!
Apply for a Work-Trade
We offer work-trades for people who seek hands-on learning experience and who have time and skills to share with P3. We are looking for people who have mastered their skills and can see a project to completion.
How it works: we pay $12/hr of credit to be used towards your tuition for your work. We will deduct the total amount you make from your PDC course tuition, maximum applies depending of the course.
Examples of work: Building a self-watering planter, help design and implement our outdoor gardens, assist with workshop coordination, help develop drones for remote sensing, set up a P3 cooking program, make kombucha, create workshop handouts, help out with administrative tasks, construct various pallet projects, build solar powered gadgets, etc!
Please note that: Work-trades require an application including a cover letter and up to date resume. The participants will be selected based on availability, our needs and your skills. We can only offer work-trades once we have reached a minimum of 10 students for a course, and there is a maximum work-trade agreements per course.
We The Trees is an initiative by a group of passionate permaculturists who, just like P3, fundamentally believe that permaculture should be accessible. They created a platform for aspiring Permaculture Design Certificate students all over the world to crowdfund their tuition (or help others do so). This is a fun and creative way to give access to permaculture education to as many people as possible. Click on the banner below for more information:
