Life can be unpredictable for us and for students. Our courses require a great deal of preparation and planning such as coordinating registrations, payments, class projects, third party agreements, facilities and teaching material. We require a 20% non-refundable fee upon registration to confirm attendance in any of our courses to support the administrative costs which are directly impacted by the number of students enrolled in any course.
For a student with an exceptional situation that may need to withdraw from attending a course after registration, we offer a chance to transfer the 20% processing fee to another similar course held within the same year of the original course. The fee is also transferable to a friend or family member of the student. For a student who do not to attend or complete his/her course, or, are unable to use their deposit within a year, or, transfer their deposit to someone else, no refund can be issued. After the first day of class, the full tuition is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled by P3, a full refund will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation.
PDC Fair Share Classes
Continuity is important to us. This is why we are happy to offer Fair Share Classes for all P3 alum. If you have completed a PDC but are feeling a bit foggy on certain concepts or details, you are invited to attend two PDC days for free each year. Don't be a stranger; come brush up on your permaculture skills, and rub shoulders our current students! To participate in a Fair Share Class you must send us your name, email, telephone number and the chapter(s) you would like to review, in order for us to inform you of the upcoming availabilities.
Each day of the PDC is packed with important core curriculum material. It is for this reason that students cannot be certified if they miss a chapter. Should you need to miss course days, you are welcome to make up the chapters missed by coming to our next PDC. We usually teach 2 PDCs per year. In very special circumstances, make-up classes can be offered but imply additional charges of 70$ per makeup class.
