Join our two-day event on food forestry and learn all about fruit tree selection and guild design to start your very own food forest – even in urban spaces!
Day 1 (May 27) of this workshop will include an in-depth exploration into the design process for an urban food forest. You'll be introduced to the principles and steps of permaculture edible landscape design and learn all about landscape planning, plant selection, and guild design.
Day 2 (May 28) of this workshop will be a hands-on day of planting an urban food forest! You'll learn all about planting fruit trees and support plants for your guild, as well as water management and conservation with passive irrigation techniques.
