Seed Swap Social
Join us for a Seed Swap Social at The Box of Life on February 15!
This workshop is a great opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to come together, share their love of plants, and exchange seeds with each other.
During this workshop, we will first go over the basics of seed saving and swapping. You'll learn how to collect, store, and label your seeds, as well as how to prepare them for sharing with others. We'll also discuss the importance of preserving heirloom and rare varieties, and the role of seed swapping in maintaining biodiversity in our gardens.
After the instructional portion of the workshop, it will be time for the seed swap itself. Participants are encouraged to bring seeds from their own gardens to share with others. This can include vegetables, herbs, flowers, or any other type of plant.
While the event is Pay-What-You-Can, we ask you to please register for the event with your email if you plan to attend. We hope to see you there!
